Locations

The Exam Schedule lists locations where DEP conducts operator certification exams. Check out the individual exam pages for additional guidelines, conditions and guidelines and exam content. If you require special accommodations due to a chronic illness, visual or hearing impairment, you should contact the exam provider directly and make sure to submit a thorough documentation upon registration.

Faculty can find their exam times by using the "View My Teaching Schedule" task on the Faculty Dashboard in Workday. For evening classes exams, they are scheduled during the regular class time during the week of exams.

Registration

The exam schedule is available online and students are encouraged to review it. However it is crucial to keep in mind that the final exam schedule may be altered at any time. This is why students should consult with their instructors to ensure that they have the correct date and time for their test. Students should also be sure to print out the official list and bring it with them to their exam.

Students should also be familiar with the guidelines and conditions of the exam in addition to the exam schedule. These are available on the exam's individual page. Students acknowledge that they have read and agree to the conditions and terms of registration.

Exam locations make every effort to accommodate those with special requirements. The nature and degree of these requirements must be stated on the registration form and verified by an attestation from a doctor. The locations of the exam must adhere to confidentiality.

If a student has three examinations scheduled for the same day it is suggested that they contact their instructor or department to arrange a make-up exam. Although it is possible to take three tests in one day, this can cause an increase in stress levels and impact the quality of the test. The instructor may not be able to give a makeup test on another day.

Before taking the test students must prepare by studying the syllabus and practicing their German skills. The test is a written test that measures your ability to read and write German. The test results are reported using a scale from przepisy kategorii a1 to C2. Students who succeed in passing the test are awarded a Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate certifies that the student has reached the level of language egzamin teoretyczny a1. This level is the first level of the six-level scale of competence set out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The exam is free of charge. Students must bring a valid government issued ID to the test. Anyone who does not have a valid photo identification will be disqualified.

Fees

You will have to pay an exam fee for the opportunity to receive the Goethe-Zertifikat (start German 1) after you have completed your Elan Academy studies. This is in addition to the course fee.

Practice assessments allow you to get familiar with the format, wording, and difficulty of the questions on the test. They help you assess your knowledge, spot gaps and increase your chances of acing the test.

It is important to note that the exam fee isn't refundable. Exam results can only be electronically sent, not via phone.
